Our Philosophy and Curriculum

Townforkids believes that the formative years from 0 to 7 are especially important in the overall development of children.
We believe that children have tremendous potential if a firm foundation has been laid in their early years. We are committed to providing EXCELLENCE in early childhood education and grooming young children into active life-long learners.

Our curriculum is based on the desired outcomes for preschool education provided by the Ministry of Education, Singapore. It is designed to challenge young children to develop literacy, numeracy, problem-solving skills and
creative thinking, which are life-skills that have been identified as critical in the new globalized world. |

In line with the shifting paradigms in schools, we have shifted emphasis

from content-based to process-based programmes, |
|
from frontal teaching to experiential learning, and |
|
from distinct subject areas to cross-subject explorations. |
|
In planning our programme, Townforkids does not use any exclusive teaching methodology, or follow any particular school of thought. Our programme incorporates some of the best methods to educate and nurture young minds. |
