MUSIC & ART TEACHERS

If you are interested in becoming a resident
music and/or art teacher in primary schools under
MOE's AMIS (Art & Music Instructor Scheme),
please contact us with your detailed resume.

Music Instructors at Primary Level

- Must be above 18 years of age;
- Preferably possess 5 GCE ‘O’ Level passes (or equivalent) incl. English in 1 sitting;
- Have acquired relevant work experience in Music-related fields:
either
a) professional work in Music, e.g. as a conductor, etc.
or
b) teaching of Music, e.g. as an instructor, etc.

Art Instructors at Primary Level

- Must be above 18 years of age;
- Preferably possess 5 GCE ‘O’ Level passes (or equivalent) incl. English in 1 sitting;
- Have acquired relevant work experience in Art-related fields:
either
a) professional work in Art, e.g. as an artist, etc.
or
b) teaching of Art, e.g. as an instructor, etc.

Final Selection of Instructors for AMIS list:
Prospective instructors are required to complete a half-day
Curriculum Familiarisation and Admin Brief on this scheme.
Final selection of art/music instructors would be subjected to clearance by MOE.
