Town4kids STELLAR Programme |
The Town4kids STELLAR Programme offers a comprehensive solution for schools seeking to enhance the planning & implementation of the STELLAR curriculum. STELLAR (Strategies for English Language Learning and Reading) is an initiative spearheaded by the Ministry of Education, Singapore to make learning English more effective and fun.
Our programme is designed to align with the textbooks used in the STELLAR curriculum. It comprises a Digital Resources Library (DRL) that contains thematic lessons, quizzes, games and activities that are interdisciplinary and cover language, art, science, as well as project-based learning. Students are also able to access the DRL from home through a customised Student DVD.
Teachers can send lesson plans online for students to explore or revise to enable continual learning from school to home.
Teachers will find multimedia lessons in various text types; stories and informative texts with narration and graphics; interactive activities for class use; comprehension exercises and language activities. The library also contains an easy-to-use lesson-planning tool for teachers to customize lessons and activities in conjunction with the STELLAR curriculum to enhance learning.
The Digital Resource Library (DRL) for STELLAR comprises a series of thematic topics including stories, informative texts, interactive activities and comprehension exercises:
