READ FIRST BEFORE INSTALLATION:

Before you install the program, you must log-in as the ‘administrator’ (not as a ‘guest’) to the computer if you have multiple user accounts for the computer. |

DURING INSTALLATION
Your PC needs to have an always-on Internet connection during installation.
Step 1: |
- Insert the DVD-ROM
- Run the program "setup.exe"
- Select the appropriate level to install |
Step 2: |
- Launch the program shortcut on the desktop
- City : (select from list)
- School : (select from list)
- School Code : enter the ‘school code’ provided by teacher at school

Important Notice:

Troubleshooting FAQ |

I encounter the following error when running the Music program:
“The Ordinal 1334 could not be located in the dynamic link library IML32.dll”. |

On Windows Vista, I encounter an error "Macromedia Projector has stopped working" upon running the program. |
|
Follow these steps to run the program in compatibility mode:
a) Right-click on the program icon on the Desktop and select "Open File Location".
b) Right-click on the Music Student.exe file icon and select Properties.
c) Select the Compatibility tab from the menu.
d) In the dialog that appears, choose the Compatibility tab, check Run this program in compatibility mode for: (select) Windows XP (Service Pack 2) from the drop-down list.
e) Click Apply, then click OK. |

I receive this message "Unable to connect online, please check your Internet connection." |

a) Make sure your computer has Internet access.
b) Configure your Firewall software to allow Town4kids Music to access the Internet. |
